Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra Will Have An Anti Human Design

The rumors and leaks of the Samsung S24 Series started to roll out even though the launch is so far. Most of the features and specifications have already been rolled out. In a previous leak, it was reported that the Samsung Galaxy S24 (Plus) and Galaxy S24 Ultra won't get an upgrade in the front-facing camera. After this, a report came that the Exynos 2400 may still make its way to the upcoming Galaxy S24 series for some selected countries. The rest countries will have the S24 series with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. The device was reported to feature a new 50MP telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom. It is going to be the same shooter that gets the same 3x optical zoom, but the 5x zoom can be achieved due to the significantly higher megapixel count in the sensor itself.

Tipster Ice Universe (@UniverseIce) suggested on X that the Galaxy S24 Ultra is likely to sport a flat screen, as mentioned in the details targeting the handset's width of 79mm. This would be different from the rest of the Ultra handsets from Samsung that have launched with a curved display. The tipster also tipped the expected dimensions of the Galaxy S24 Ultra, which could be 1(62.3 X 79 X 8.6)mm.

He also tipped that the display's aspect ratio is going to change from 19.3:9 to 19.5:9 and that the phone would be slightly shorter than the Galaxy S23 Ultra but wider and thinner. Ice also said that an increase of 3.42mm in the size of the bezels would decrease the screen-to-body ratio to 88 percent which probably makes it the lowest screen-to-body ratio for a Samsung flagship device since the Galaxy S10, which was released in 2019. In the renders shared by Ice, the Galaxy S24 Ultra's screen appears like a perfect rectangle and its rounder frames make it look wider than it is. In contrast, a render of the iPhone 15 Ultra shows that Apple's phone will have a more manageable and consistently attractive design.

Recent reports have suggested that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra could come with minor upgrades over the Galaxy S23 Ultra regarding camera specifications. According to the reports, the device could feature a 200-megapixel Samsung (HP 2) sensor as a primary camera, a 12-megapixel Sony IMX564 ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 50-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL sensor with 5X optical zoom and another new 12-megapixel Sony IMX754+ periscope camera with 10X optical zoom and 120x digital zoom. It is also expected to come with a laser autofocus system and a time-of-flight (ToF) sensor.  For the selfie camera, there will be no change it is going to sport the same 12-megapixel  S5K3LU selfie camera from the previous generation S23 Ultra.

The device is also expected to have a 6.8-inch Dynamic AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, a display resolution of 3120 ×1440 pixels, and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. It is likely to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and could come with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. In terms of battery, the device is expected to come with a 5,000mAh battery with support for fast charging and wireless charging. The S24 series might get the new deca-core Exynos 2400 chipset in selected countries.

Regarding software, the device is expected to run on the latest version of Android, Android 14. It is also expected to come with Samsung's One UI 6.0 skin on top. The device is also expected to come with an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, facial recognition technology, and Samsung's trusted Knox security, adding another layer of security. The device is expected to be launched around February 2024. However, there is no official word from Samsung yet regarding the launch date or the pricing of the device. We will have to wait for more information to be revealed in the coming months.

Overall, the Samsung Galaxy S24 Series could be a great launch. It is expected to come with some minor upgrades over the Galaxy S23 Series in terms of camera specifications, which should make it a great choice for photography enthusiasts. We will have to wait for more information to be revealed in the coming months to better understand what the device has to offer.
